This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for cruise bookings arranged through Cruise With Felix. Refunds are governed by each cruise line's cancellation policy and applicable fare rules.

1. General Refund Principles

Cruise refunds are determined by the individual cruise line's cancellation schedule, which typically imposes increasing penalties as the sail date approaches. Cruise With Felix processes refund requests on your behalf and advocates with cruise lines to secure the maximum eligible refund.

2. Typical Cruise Cancellation Schedule

While policies vary by cruise line and fare type, a common cancellation penalty schedule is:

• 90+ days before sailing: Loss of deposit only (varies by cruise line)
• 89–60 days before sailing: 25–50% of total fare
• 59–30 days before sailing: 50–75% of total fare
• 29–15 days before sailing: 75–100% of total fare
• 14 days or less / No-show: 100% of total fare (no refund)

Your specific cancellation schedule will be provided at time of booking and is outlined in your booking confirmation. Always call us as early as possible if you need to cancel.

3. Future Cruise Credits (FCC)

Many cruise lines offer Future Cruise Credits (FCC) as an alternative to cash refunds. FCCs allow you to apply the value of your cancelled booking to a future sailing. Cruise With Felix will inform you of FCC options and assist you in applying credits to a new booking. FCCs are non-transferable and have expiry dates set by the individual cruise line.

4. Cruise Line-Initiated Cancellations

If the cruise line cancels your sailing:

• You are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, including deposits and cruise fares.
• The cruise line may also offer alternative sailings as compensation.
• Cruise With Felix will contact you promptly to advise your options and process your preferred resolution.
• Call us at (866) 885-3901 as soon as you receive notification of a cruise line cancellation.

5. Significant Itinerary Changes

If the cruise line makes a significant change to your itinerary (e.g., removing a key port of call or substantially changing departure dates), you may be entitled to cancel for a full refund or receive compensation. We will assess your eligibility and advise accordingly.

6. Non-Refundable Deposits and Fares

Some promotional fares include non-refundable deposits. These are clearly identified at the time of booking. While the deposit is non-refundable, other amounts paid above the deposit may be eligible for refund or FCC depending on the cancellation date. We will always disclose non-refundable terms before confirming your booking.

7. Shore Excursions and Add-On Refunds

• Shore excursions booked through Cruise With Felix are refundable up to 48–72 hours before the excursion date, subject to operator policies.
• Dining packages, drink packages, and spa reservations are generally non-refundable once the sailing has commenced.
• Prepaid gratuities are typically refundable if cancelled before sailing.

8. Refund Process

• Step 1: Call (866) 885-3901 or email contact@cruisewithfelix.com with your booking reference.
• Step 2: Our agent reviews your booking, confirms penalty schedule, and informs you of your refund eligibility.
• Step 3: Upon your confirmation, we submit the cancellation and refund request to the cruise line.
• Step 4: Refunds are credited to your original payment method. Processing typically takes 14–45 business days depending on the cruise line.

9. Cruise With Felix Service Fees

Our service fees are non-refundable once a booking has been processed, except in the event of an error on our part. Cancellation processing fees and upgrade service fees are non-refundable once rendered.

10. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against cancellation penalties, medical emergencies at sea, missed embarkation, and other travel disruptions. Cruise With Felix does not sell insurance directly — please consult an independent provider.
